We Have A Champion!

House Cup Finale

It was another fun summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood. It was raining on and off, but the boys stayed active throughout the day. After pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines, Hemlocks and Oaks continued the battle for the House Cup! Morning competitions included a Team Haka, tennis baseball, futsal and a relay race. The Sycamores spent their entire day about an hour from camp at the beach. Luckily for them, it did not rain where they were. Senior Campers were busy with prep for upcoming events in baseball, basketball and soccer. They also got to enjoy waterski, arts and crafts, archery, BMX and climbing.

Senior Campers Working!

After paninis for lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the House Cup restarted! The first competition was a four way spelling bee. Following that, each team tried their hand at capture the flag and ultimate frisbee. The afternoon concluded with a huge apache relay. Senior Campers spent their afternoon on the ski boats, over at the basketball courts, on the golf course and in the weight room. After a delicious dinner of spaghetti and chicken, veggies and potatoes dinner, House Cup concluded at the campfire with the team song competition. It was an incredible close three days of competition. Congratulations to SLYTHERIN! The Snakes win for the second time in three years and are off to the Gazebo! Looking forward to another great Maine summer camp day. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
