The Dining Hall
As has always been the tradition at Camp Wildwood, all of our meals are served family-style. All staff and campers eat with their bunk-mates in our dining room at small intimate tables consisting of two staff members and five to six boys. There is only one seating for each meal so we are always together as a camp family during meal time. At Camp Wildwood, we are nut aware.
Our chef works with campers who have allergies/intolerances such as Celiac, gluten sensitivity, dairy, egg, vegetarian, vegan, etc. to ensure their meals and snacks mirror the rest of the camp menu on any given summer day. We welcome the opportunity to discuss any dietary needs prior to the start of camp.
In addition to our daily hot entrée, breakfast consists of a salad bar filled with a variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, dried fruit and granola, as well as a large selection of hot and cold cereals.
Lunches and Dinners include a hot entrée served with a starch and a vegetable as well as a vegetarian option, a pasta station and a sun butter and jelly station. Both meals also include a salad bar stocked with greens and additional protein options. We also offer daily mid afternoon snacks and fresh fruit.
Every Wednesday, we have a big cookout for dinner including the best fan favorites like burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, pasta salad and watermelon.
