Intramural Games and Canoe Adventures
CPs Take on Woods Pond
It was another beautiful summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood. The sun was shining and the boys made the most of it! After donuts, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines spent the morning canoeing around Woods Pond. While that was going on, the Hemlocks were busy at newcomb and tennis. The Oaks spent their morning at tennis and box lacrosse while the Sycamores enjoyed a soccer match and a chill time on the water. Over in Senior Camp, the boys played intramural basketball games with the teams they were going to have for intercamp. The boys who didn’t play spent time on the water and went fishing.
Tennis Time in Senior Camp
After trip lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the Cedar Pines spent time at tennis, baseball, ping pong and swimming while the Hemlocks were at skating, wiffleball and swimming. The Oaks spent their afternoon at swimming and tennis baseball while the Sycamores were at box lacrosse and speed tag. During last period, the two groups squared off in handball. Senior Campers spent their afternoon playing in a huge tennis tournament. After a delicious cookout dinner, all of the boys stayed busy with their groups. soccer, capture the flag, steal the bacon and assassins were all happening. Looking forward to another great Maine summer camp day. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
