The Sunday Special

The Games Continue

It was another great summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood. Today we continued with a change up on the weekend schedule. Sundays come with a lazy morning of course so after a buffet of pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines, Hemlocks and Oaks all went to the gym for a huge sports rotation. We had a roller hockey game, a basketball shootout contest and trashball round robins. Over in Senior Camp, the Games continued. The morning session included tennis baseball and futsal. In case you missed it, we also sent out our 2021 Virtual Visiting Day Video. To check it out, CLICK HERE.

Tiger Tail Tag

After grilled cheese for lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the Cedar Pines spent their afternoon at tennis, swimming in Woods Pond and practicing a new game called Tiger Tail. Word has it that Tiger Tail will play a big factor in Color War and we want everyone practicing! The Hemlocks started with tennis and then had swimming and Tiger Tail. The Oaks had Tiger Tail first and then went to swimming and tennis. Senior Campers continued their competition with soccer, football, volleyball and hockey. After a delicious ravioli dinner, the Senior Camp games continued with two handball games on the outdoor rink. While that was going on, Cedar Pines played capture the flag, the Hemlocks had handball and the Oaks enjoyed a wiffleball game. Looking forward to another one of the best Maine summer camp days. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
