Trip Day is Back!
Lower Falls, Beaches and Mini Golf
It was another great summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood and today was the return of Trip Day. Today was the first time in two years that the boys of Camp Wildwood all left camp for a trip. After scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines and Hemlocks spent their day on the beautiful sands of Crescent Beach. The Oaks and Sycamores soaked in the sun over at Ferry Beach. The Sequoias and Maples started at the natural water slides of Lower Falls and then enjoyed mini golf and ice cream. The Seniors spent their day exploring the Portland Harbor and the outdoor dining scene.
Cookout
Once all the boys returned, we got together at the cookout for dinner. Burgers, dogs and grilled chicken were on the menu tonight along with chips, salad and watermelon. Afterwards, all of the boys stayed busy with their groups. Zombies, Capture the Flag, Steal the Bacon and Assassins were all happening. Looking forward to another great Maine summer camp day. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
