Time for Bacon
Getting Ready
It was another great day here Camp Wildwood and the stayed busy! After ball scores at flag pole, we all enjoyed a nice breakfast of waffles, sausage, fruit and cereal. After that, everyone made their way down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. We had a mix of activities and team practices on the schedule. There was a lot to get ready for.
Impressive Finish
After reubens, chips and veggies for lunch, the boys took a rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. The Cedar Pines and Hemlocks were off to Skylemar for the annual Steal the Bacon Tournament. We sent a six team contingent that finished with a winning record overall. One of our teams reached the final, but fell just short to the host camp. That’s 2nd out of over 25 teams! In other intercamp news, the 12U baseball dropped a heartbreaker, but the 13U hoops team made up for it with a big win over at BSC. Here at Camp Wildwood the 15U boys split a basketball/volleyball match up. The boys who did not want to participate were able to enjoy swimming, tennis, climbing, BMX, archery and golf. After evening flag pole, dinner was steak sandwiches. For evening activity, we were entertained by the hilarious Hemlocks! See you tomorrow!
