The Best Maine Summer Day!

Lots and Lots of Choices

It was a beautiful summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood and the boys spent the whole day in the sunshine! After eggs, hash browns, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines opened their day on the baseball field with Mark and also had dance, arts and crafts and tennis. While that was going on, the Hemlocks had soccer, BMX, guitar, hockey and golf. The Oaks were at tennis, football and ropes and the Sycamores had swimming, baseball, waterski and mountain biking. The Sequoias spent their morning at hockey, waterski, arts and crafts and lacrosse while the Maples and Seniors had baseball, archery and swimming.

Sycamore Campfire Time

After pizza for lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the boys were busy all around camp. The Cedar Pines started at hockey and ropes and then had football, waterski, BMX and swimming. The Hemlocks opened their afternoon with swimming and tennis and then finished with lacrosse and waterski. The Oaks had basketball, golf and swimming and then finished with hockey and arts and crafts and the Sycamores had lacrosse, archery. fitness, basketball and ropes. The Sequoias spent their afternoon at tennis, baseball, soccer and golf while the Maples and Seniors had soccer, football, waterski and fitness. After a delicious BBQ chicken and broccoli dinner, the Sycamores entertained everyone down at the campfire. After campfire, while everyone was getting ready for bed, WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE started blasting. Everyone to the porch, then the gym, then the lodge. Could it be? Color War?! NOPE! Just a fake break. Every boy did a wonderful job! Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. Looking forward to another great Maine summer day. See you tomorrow!
