Beach, Beach and More Beach

More Out of Camp Living

It was another beautiful summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood. After donuts, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Sycamores, Sequoias and Seniros took off for a day at the beach. The Cedar Pines spent their morning at newcomb, baseball and waterski while the Hemlocks had baseball, BMX, basketball and archery. The Oaks spent their morning at fitness, archery and swimming while the Maples had soccer, canoeing and waterski. Movie Night

After trip lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the Cedar Pines spent their afternoon at kickball, archery, soccer, swimming and golf while the Hemlocks started with tennis and swimming and then had soccer and photography. The Oaks spent their afternoon at tennis, baseball, arts and crafts and baseball and the Maples had swimming, tennis and basketball. After a delicious dinner down at the cookout, everyone loaded up on buses. We rented out the entire Magic Lantern movie theater for a special trip for the boys! But about one hour into the movie, the movie cut off, the lights came on and they received another surprise…. TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW!!!!! Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine.
