Awards in the Morning

It was another sunny summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood and today was unfortunately packing day. After pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the boys began their day down at the campfire. There we gave out a MIP and MVP for both camps in every activity at camp. Congrats our winners! In addition, we brought back a bit of an old tradition and recognized every boy in camp for how many summer they have spent at Camp Wildwood. We had Year 1 water bottles, Year 2 adidas bags, Year 3 retro shirts, Year 4 hats, Year 5 fit bits, Year 6 joggers, Year 7 sweatshirts and Year 8 jackets.

Packing in the Afternoon

After a delicious chicken patty lunch and a relaxing rest hour, every one started packing! Not the most fun event, but we made the most of it. For dinner, we had the World Famous Banquet Night. We enjoyed, steak, lobster, chowder, salad, corn and cheesecake for dessert. We followed that up with the unveiling of the 2021 plaque as well as group speeches, Athlete of the Year and Camper of the Year. Congrats to our Athletes of the Year, Zay Robinson and Lucas Walsh and our Campers of the Year, Emmy Hummel and Mason Zelenko! We’ll be up very early tomorrow!
