Oak Campfire Night
Heating Up
It was indeed sunny all day at Camp Wildwood. It was a little hot, but there was a breeze and we stayed hydrated all day! The day started with ball scores at flag pole followed by french toast, yogurt, granola, cereal and fruit for breakfast. After that, it was down to the bunks for cleaning before the morning activities. It was another day full of picks as the boys were able to choose from a mix of photography, ping pong, hockey, tennis, swimming, climbing, archery, BMX, soccer and more.
Friday Evening Special
The afternoon began with chicken nuggets, fries and salad for lunch. From there, the boys had rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. After that, activities in and around camp included Hunger Games, basketball, arts and crafts, climbing, BMX, football and waterski.
For dinner we had brisket with mashed potatoes and veggies. As is the case every Friday night, we had a very special evening activity. Our Oaks put on quite a show to open up the campfire schedule. Followed, of course, by S’MORES! A great day at Camp Wildwood. See you tomorrow!
