The Cup Has a New Home

Lazy Morning

It was another beautiful day here Camp Wildwood and the boys made the most of it! Sundays are a little different here. For starters, we did not blow reveille over the loud speaker. Boys could sleep a little extra if they wanted. Up at the lodge, there was a buffet breakfast of pastries, fruit and cereal and ESPN playing on the big screen. After an extra long cleaning of the bunks (really!), the boys got busy at activities around camp like guitar, climbing, soccer, hoops, swimming, tennis, BMX, archery and football. Over in Junior Camp, today marked the final day of House Cup competition. The morning events included tennis baseball, handball, a spell contest, a banner contest and trivia.

Busy Afternoon

After quesadillas, chips and guac for lunch, the boys took an extra long “rest hour.” Senior Campers enjoyed the many activities going on. There was photography, arts and crafts, tennis, swimming, waterski, sailing, low ropes, baseball and lacrosse. Over in House Cup, boys competed in a camp lap relay, steal the bacon, BMX, pickleball, ping pong and football. After evening flag pole, we had a pasta dinner along with veggies and salad. For evening activity, each group did something a little different like handball, GaGa, tennis baseball and kickball. Over at the campfire, House Cup concluded with the Cheer competition, the announcement of the winner and the immediate championship trip to the Gazebo for ice cream! Congratulations to Gryffindor! It was a spirited two days in Junior Camp to say the least. See you tomorrow!
