The Champs Are Here
Getting Ready
It was another sunny day here Camp Wildwood and the boys made the most of it! After ball scores at flag pole, we all enjoyed a nice breakfast of pancakes, bacon, fruit and cereal. After that, everyone made their way down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. Right away, we sent a 15U and 13U hoops team to a big all day tournament. Back at camp, we had a mix of activities including guitar, climbing, soccer, hoops, swimming, tennis, BMX, archery and football.
Finishing Strong
After popcorn shrimp, tater tots and veggies for lunch, the boys took a rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. Activities around camp included photography, arts and crafts, tennis, swimming, waterski, sailing, low ropes, baseball and lacrosse. But the excitement of the day happened off campus. The 15U had a strong showing, highlighted by a big win over Takajo. MVPs of that game were Henry K. and Oscar S. The 13U returned to camp as champions! They went 4-0 on the day, beating the host team (Cedar) once in pool play and then again in the finals! The whole team played great, with stand out performances by Zay R., Latrell G. and Tyler B. After evening flag pole, we had chicken cordon bleu along with salad and veggies for dinner. For evening activity, each group did something a little different like capture the flag, GaGa, steal the bacon and home run derby and the Oaks and Sycamores faced off in Game 2! Results tomorrow. See you then!
