Bye Bye Senior Camp
Load Up the Bus
It was another beautiful day here Camp Wildwood and BIG trips are back! After ball scores at flag pole, we all enjoyed a nice breakfast of sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches with fruit and cereal. After that, everyone made their way down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. Senior campers packed up their bags and made their way out of camp on a three day white water rafting trip in The Forks, Maine. We’ll welcome them back to camp on Thursday evening. In Junior Camp, the morning consisted of a mix of team practices and activities like photography, arts and crafts, football, archery, golf, tennis, swimming and baseball.
What a “Sweep” Afternoon
After fan favorite chicken patties and veggies for lunch, the boys took a rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. Activities around camp included guitar, BMX, soccer, lacrosse, paddle boarding, waterskiing, and sailing. We also played host to a few games vs. Skylemar. It was a very successful afternoon! The 10U soccer team won 5-0, led by two goals each from Liam M. and Ethan M. plus a goal from Teddy A. The 11s played a pair of basketball games and won both! Everyone on both teams contributed to their success! After evening flag pole, we had TACO TUESDAY for dinner. For evening activity, each group did something a little different like capture the flag, GaGa, steal the bacon and home run derby. Last night, the Oaks defeated the Sycamores once again in hoops, sweeping the summer series. See you tomorro!
