July 4th Olympics!

Happy 4th! The day started bright and early for a BIG group of campers that made their way into town for the 4 on the 4th race. Congrats to everyone who participated! Back at camp, we began with flagpole and chocolate chip pancakes with fruit, cereal and yogurt. After bunk cleaning, we spent the morning taking pictures for CPs - Sequoias (Maples and Seniors tomorrow!) plus a mix of activities. Group picture links are available on the summer pictures page. After Philly cheese steaks for lunch and rest hour, the whole camp met on the baseball field to begin the July 4th Olympics! Camp was split into three teams, RED, WHITE and BLUE. They competed in tug o’war, egg toss, apple bobbing, watermelon eating and a full camp relay. Winners to be announced at flag pole! For dinner and evening activity, our CPs, Hemlocks, Oaks and Sycamores went to Pinecliffe while their camp sent 13s, 14s and 15s to Wildwood. A great night had by all! See you tomorrow.
