Away Day

Hard to top such an incredible 4th of July, but we tried our best with a mix of activities and a lot of away events. Highlight of the day was our 15s hoops team going 5-0 and winning the big summer tournament! In addition to that event, the schedule included 10s and 11s hoops, 11s, 13s and 15s tennis, 12s hockey and 14s soccer. 80 campers represented Camp Wildwood respectfully and proudly today! After ball scores, we loaded up on eggs, hash browns and sausage with fruit, cereal and yogurt. After bunk cleaning, the morning was a mix of games, practices and activities. After grilled cheese for lunch and rest hour, the rest of our teams left camp and everyone remaining had a nice rest hour followed by afternoon activities. Lots of time in the water! We met at flagpole to recap the day and congratulate the….RED team on winning the July 4th Olympics. For dinner, we had a delicious pizza dinner with a milkshake treat! We met at the campfire as a whole and were very much entertained by Senior Camp. A great show! More sun on tap for tomorrow. See you then!
