Rainy Day Schedule!

The Rain Can’t Hold Us Down…

We might’ve woken up to a little bit of rain, but that did not stop the boys of Camp Wildwood from having the best time! After scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, each group headed out for their rainy day style morning activity. The Cedar Pines had an incredible bunk relay race competition while the Hemlocks played basketball. The Oaks spent time with Mark while he showed them all how to play his favorite style of dodgeball. In the Sycamores, the boys broke up in to groups and played 3-Team Crosbee. Over in Senior Camp, the Sequoias played handball and the Maples and Seniors spent their morning playing a big football game or volleyball.

Is There Anything Better than Hot Chocolate in the Rain?

After a delicious chicken patty lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the boys stayed busy all afternoon. The Cedar Pines had handball and then enjoyed hot chocolate on the porch. The Hemlocks were busy practicing for their campfire. The Oaks had a team building class with Walker and then enjoyed hot chocolate as well. The Sycamores played four team kickball and the Sequoias played dodgeball and running bases. The Maples and Seniors spent their afternoon playing a big soccer match. After fried chicken, pulled pork and mac n’ cheese for dinner, we all gathered at the campfire for an incredible show put on by the Hemlocks. All of the boys participated and did a wonderful job! It might have been a little wet today, but it never really rains at Camp Wildwood. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
