Cardboard Regatta!

Does Cardboard Float?

We had a very special Saturday schedule today and all of the boys made the absolute best of it! After french toast, sausage, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, each group received a large pile of cardboard boxes so that they could build their boats for the 2nd Annual Camp Wildwood Cardboard Regatta. What an incredible event it was! Special shout outs to Bunks 4 and 14 as well as our Senior Group for completing the challenge and winning a pizza party! Everyone finished up the morning with a cup of hot chocolate.

A Little Rain, A Lot of Fun

After a delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the boys stayed busy all afternoon. The Cedar Pines had GaGa, relay races, kickball and waterski. The Hemlocks and Oaks spent their afternoon working on their basketball skills as they prepare for an upcoming group challenge. The Sycamores played football, kickball and dodgeball while the Sequoias played football and went for a bike ride around camp. The Maples and Seniors spent their afternoon out on the boats and playing wiffleball and spikeball. After fried chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner, each group played a different evening activity. Between hoops, capture the flag, handball, knockout and more, everyone had a great time! BIG plans for July 4th! Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
