Red vs. Gold

The Battle for the Red and Gold Flame

Another beautiful summer day here at Camp Wildwood in Maine! After bacon, egg and cheese wraps, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, each group of boys got moving around camp. The Cedar Pines and Hemlocks spent their day completing the first ever Cedar Pine n’ Hemlock Invitational. The day was filled with tennis baseball, dodgeball, basketball, football, relay races and some very silly camp games. The Oaks spent their morning at swimming, baseball and dance and the Sycamores had football, soccer and archery. Over in Senior Camp, the Sequoias spent their morning at baseball, waterski and tennis. Some Sequoias tackled a major hike along the White Mountains. The Maples and Seniors had tennis, soccer and waterski.

Living Their Best Lives in Maine

After a delicious TACO TUESDAY lunch and a relaxing rest hour, everyone got back out for an afternoon full of fun activities. As the battle for the Gold and Red Flame continued, the Oaks spent time at lacrosse, arts and crafts, tennis, hockey and waterski while the Sycamores enjoyed tennis, swimming, basketball, fitness and waterski. Senior Camp boys were busy throughout camp at fitness, swimming, baseball, waterski, lacrosse, hockey and basketball. After a delicious dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, the Cedar Pines and Hemlocks concluded the invitational. Congratulations to the Red Raiders! The Flame belongs to them for the next year. Congratulations to all of the boys on showing tremendous sportsmanship and team spirit. Elsewhere, groups were busy at tennis baseball, team handball, ultimate frisbee and Hunger Games. Another beautiful Maine summer camp day. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
