Life in Bridgton, Maine

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

It was a cool Maine summer day at Camp Wildwood and the boys made the most of it! After pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, each group of boys got moving around camp. During the morning, the Cedar Pines and Hemlocks combined for a mix of baseball, kickball, arts and crafts and dance. The Oaks spent their morning swimming in Woods Pond followed by soccer and waterski while the Sycamores left camp for an exciting canoe trip along the Saco River. Over in Senior Camp, the Sequoias had a tennis tournament in the morning while the Maples and Seniors had hockey, waterski and swimming.

Staying Cool in the Summer

After chicken patties for lunch and a relaxing rest hour, everyone got back out for an afternoon full of fun activities. The Cedar Pines had football, waterski, swimming, BMX and ping pong and the Hemlocks were at swimming, basketball, drums, guitar, waterski, arts and crafts and hockey. The Oaks got busy at hockey and arts and crafts and then had a tennis tournament of their own. The Sequoias spent their afternoon at volleyball, football, arts and crafts and fitness while the Maples and Seniors played basketball, volleyball and football. After raviolis and eggplant parm for dinner, everyone stayed busy at kickball, campfire practice, capture the flag, lawn games and more! Today was so busy, everyone should get a good night of sleep. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you tomorrow!
