Let's go to the Beach!

Chilling on Woods Pond

It was another warm summer day in Maine at Camp Wildwood and the boys stayed active from start to finish! We opened the morning by surprising the Sequoias with a trip to the beach for the day. They enjoyed fun in the sand and played football, spikeball and other great Camp Wildwood beach games. After pancakes, bacon, fruit and cereal for breakfast and a cleaning of the bunks, the Cedar Pines opened their day on the tennis courts and then made their way to basketball, arts and crafts and GaGa. While that was going on, the Hemlocks were busy at hockey and archery followed by tennis. The Oaks started with baseball and golf and then enjoyed soccer and waterski before lunch while the Sycamores started down at the waterfront and then went to lacrosse, archery and BMX. Over in Senior Camp, the Maples and Seniors played football and went paddle boarding on Woods Pond. After that, they had hockey and ping pong. A quick note from the other day, the Hemlocks beat the Oaks in Hoops game two! The rubber match will be played this week.

Sycamore Revenge?

After TACO TUESDAY for lunch and a relaxing rest hour, the sky was bright all afternoon. The Cedar Pines could be found at swimming, soccer, waterski, ping pong, lacrosse and BMX while the Hemlocks were busy at football, swimming, soccer and ping pong. The Oaks spent their afternoon at basketball, tennis, golf and swimming and the Sycamores had baseball, arts and crafts, volleyball, ping pong and golf. The Maples and Seniors enjoyed baseball, tennis, archery, golf and waterski. After a delicious chicken finger dinner, the boys at camp enjoyed evening activity by group. The big event of the night was a rematch of the Sycamores vs. Sequoias Hoops Challenge! Camp Wildwood was also buzzing with kickball, tennis baseball, handball and ultimate frisbee. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow. Another great summer day at the best of the boys sleepaway camps in Bridgton, Maine. See you then!
