Inter Camp Is Back

Morning of Picks and Practice

It was another great day in Maine at Camp Wildwood and the boys made the most of it! After ball scores at flag pole, we had eggs, sausage, fruit and cereal for breakfast. After a cleaning of the bunks, camp stayed busy with a regular morning of activities that included swimming, tennis, soccer, hoops, football, archery, climbing and photography. Today marked the return of inter camp (games vs other camps) so there were a bunch of team practices going on as well.

Three Years in the Making

The afternoon began with chicken fingers, fries and salad for lunch. From there, we sent a big 12U group over to Takajo and they sent their 14s over to us. Highlights of the day were a convincing win by Leo Z. as the #1 seed in 12U Tennis, a dominant victory in 14U volleyball, at OT final in 14U hoops and tremendous performances on the baseball field by Augie G. and Charlie G. The boys who were not participate got a change to watch some of the action during the afternoon as well as participate in arts and crafts, BMX, ping pong, hockey, GaGa, swimming, water ski and more.

We had TACO TUESDAY for dinner with churros for dessert! ! Evening activity was a collective chill for camp. It’s been a long stretch of hot and busy days and we thought that everyone could use a nice and relaxing evening. They were some pick up games and general hanging out. Everyone took a shower and got into bed nice and early! A beauitful day at Camp Wildwood. See you tomorrow!
